The company
What we buy
We buy bulk Pokémon trading cards by the box, unsorted.
Counted and paid for
- Pokémon cards in English or Japanese, any set, any era, in near mint condition.
Not counted and not paid for
- Anything below near mint: creased, whitened, scuffed, written on, water damaged, mouldy, or torn.
- Code cards and basic energy cards.
- Other games, and Pokémon cards in other languages.
- Anything that is not a card.
These do not count toward your total and we do not return them. Anything mouldy is discarded.
Minimum 3,000 countable cards. No maximum, but tell us in advance above 25,000.
Price and payment
- The rate in your offer is the rate we honour for your lot. It does not change once the box arrives.
- The rates published on the site are current and can change. A change never affects a lot already offered.
- The quantity you enter is only an estimate. We count every card on arrival and pay for what the box contains.
- Payment is by PayPal or bank transfer. Your offer says when you are paid, and we confirm the method in the same reply.
Shipping and risk
- Your offer comes with a prepaid shipping label. We pay the carrier; you pay nothing.
- The label is for one box of the size you described. Use the box and service printed on it. If you ship something substantially heavier, we deduct the extra carrier charge from your payment.
- Until the box reaches us, any loss or damage is a carrier matter. The label is tracked, and we file the claim since the carrier contract is ours.
- If a box arrives damaged we scan what survived, tell you what did not, and pay on that count. Your card list and scans are evidence for a carrier claim.
- Write your reference on the outside. A box without one cannot be matched to a sender.
- If you are in the greater Seattle area and sending over 10,000 cards, we can collect instead of sending a label.
When the cards become ours
- By sending a box you confirm the cards are yours to sell, that they are not stolen, and that no one else has a claim on them.
- You must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian handle the sale.
- Ownership passes to Glass Floor Cards LLC when the lot is opened and scanned. We do not return cards from an accepted lot, including any card that turns out to be valuable.
- You can cancel any time before we open the box, including while it is in transit. If it has already reached us, we send it back at your cost. Once it is opened and scanned the sale is done.
- We can decline a lot. We say so when we answer your request, not after the box is in transit.
- If a box turns out to be substantially different from what you told us, we stop and contact you before going further. You can take a revised offer or have the box back at your cost.
If you disagree with the count
Every card is scanned on the way in, and each image is filed against its line on your card list with a lot, bin, and card number.
- Raise it by replying to your results email within 14 days, quoting your reference.
- We go back through the scans for the lines you are asking about and tell you what we find.
- If our count was wrong we pay the difference.
- We keep the scans and card list for at least 12 months.
If we lose or damage your cards while they are with us, we pay you what the lot was worth at
the rates in your offer. If that happens before we have counted them, we pay on the count you
gave us. That is the limit of what we owe on any lot.
